Have A Holly Jolly Christmas Recipe Swap #2

Welcome to Have a Holly Jolly Christmas Recipe Swap Friday. So glad that you could stop by. I decided to post this a bit early this week since I had it all ready to go. I hope that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family, friends and of course YUMMY food. :) I know we did. I have so much to be thankful for...not only on Thanksgiving but every day. Life is good and God has blessed us abundantly. :) For my friends and followers who are not celebrating Thanksgiving today...I hope you had a wonderful Thursday! :) Several of you mentioned that you could not post last week but would post this week...I sure hope so! Thanks to you that did post last week. I am hoping to get more people posting their family recipes, craft ideas, decorating ideas or traditions. Come on everyone, join in on the fun...the more the merrier. :) If you would like more information on my swap go click here.

My entry for the the swap is Lasagna Roll-ups. They taste extremely delicious and they look so elegant. They are not quite as messy looking as regular lasagna. My roll-ups are great for a dinner party. They will be the first to go...let me tell you!! :) Your guests will want the recipe before they head home.

~ LASAGNA ROLL-UPS ~

10 uncooked lasagna noodles
1 package Italian sausage links-casings removed {I used turkey}
8 ounce package of cream cheese { I used 1/3 less fat}
1 jar {26 ounces} spaghetti sauce, divided
1-3/4 cups shredded colby/jack cheese, divided

Cook the noodles to al dente. While noodles are boiling, cook sausage until juices run clear. Stir in cream cheese and 1/3 cup spaghetti sauce.

Drain the noodles. Spread 1/4 cup meat mixture on each noodle. Sprinkle each with 2 tablespoons cheese and carefully roll up.

Spread 2/3 cup meat sauce into an ungreased 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Place roll-ups seam side down over auce. Top with remaining sauce and then the remaining cheese.

Cover with tinfoil and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake 10 minutes longer or until cheese is slightly browned and bubbly.
