All about my Christmas recipe swap!! Come join in!!

Well, folks...it's that time of year again. I can't believe it but Thanksgiving is just about upon us and then of course Christmas. These days sure are busy for our family with Christmas programs at church and school, Holiday concerts and parties etc... I thought it would be fun for all of my friends, followers, readers, newbies and lurkers to get together and SHARE their favorite holiday recipes, decorating ideas, craft ideas and traditions. Yes, of course, we all have our favorite recipes or traditions that we will always have as a family but it would be fun to hear about others too! You might just find something new that you could try or you could give someone else a great new idea!! Even though this swap is called Have a Holly Jolly Christmas recipe swap...your favorites for Thanksgiving are also welcome!! {until Thanksgiving anyway}

How to join my swap. :)

1) If you'd like to join in on the fun, simply write out your post on your blog as usual and leave the link here with MckLinky.*Link directly to your recipe by scrolling down and clicking on the "Add your Link" button. You will be then be prompted to enter the URL {please make sure to link directly to your post}, name of your recipe, and Email and then select a Thumbnail to upload. {your email will not be posted}

*How do I link directly to my recipe? After you have posted your recipe simply go to your blog, click that particular blog title. When this post comes up just highlight the addresss in the url box, copy and paste.

2) Please remember to always link back to Fresh from the Farm so that we see all the delicious recipes. It's also a way to find great new blogs and make wonderful new friends.

3) It's all about sharing so please do spread the word and please grab my Farmchick's I'll Be Home for Christms Recipe Swap Saturday button, {located on the top right column and or Tweet/Facebook this swap to your friends and followers.

I am looking forward to seeing new recipes and ideas and making new friends! I hope you are too! :)

I must be a little thick but I can't figure out how to leave my link with you. I have a recipe for Welsh Cakes I wanted to add. Where is your " Add your Link" button?

CCC--you are not a little thick--you won't be able to see the linky thing until friday when I start the swap. It will be every Friday--so my next post will be then and I think you will be able to figure it out then. :) Anyway questions just comment or email again. :)
