What a wonderful LONG weekend.....

I am just sitting here...wishing the weekend would not be over. I love having our children home from school. We had a great Thanksgiving with my parents and hubby's parents. It was nice. We missed Grandma but we knew she was having a wonderful Thanksgiving in heaven too.

We stayed home most of the weekend. I am still working on putting our house back together after the carpet was put in. Now, I am working on decking the halls! ;)

So far we have one tree up. Thought I would share it with you. This is our tree in the living room.

I thought this picture turned out kinda cool...so I am showing it too. :)

I have some yummy recipes scheduled to post this week...so do come back!!

Hope you had a wonderful long weekend. What did you do? Did you start decorating for Christmas too? Please make sure to say HI! :)

We spent the weekend just doing whatever we wanted..with no schedules or have to do things. It was great!
Can't wait to get the next few weeks in so we can do it all over again with the next holiday.

We don't have ours up yet. I put up a few decorations and a string of lights in the living room so far.

  6. Wow! What a great tree!

I've been on vacation all week and go back tomorrow. Yuck! I've been shopping and wrapping all the gifts for family. Haven't decorated much because I'll be with the Sisters over Christmas. Won't have WiFi access while I'm away, so don't worry if I don't post until afterwards. xxoo

  12. Beautiful tree! We're doing home renovations and there is no place to put the tree. We have to settle for a little table top one. The only one who seems concerned is my youngest. I think it will all be okay. We can just pretend the construction dust is snow! lol

  16. I love Christmas. Your tree is lovely. Mine is always such a mishmash of decorations, some even from the 1940's (before even I was born) made from chenille because everything was in short supply during the war. It's kind of a memory tree I guess, like old quilts made of pieces of material from clothes that folks we love used to wear.
