The talk around the farm today is the upcoming blizzard.
They are forcasting another 12 inches of snow!
We will be here...probably snowed in for a few days! :)
We have plenty of food,
plenty of wood for a crackling fire,
and we will all be together.....
sounds pretty good doesn't it?
Please remember to leave me a
comment so I can visit you!
HAPPY WEEKEND!!!!:)
I bet those cows could love to curl up by the crackling fire!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time snowed in. A cozy weekend at home sounds wonderful.
You've cheered me up! Unfortunately your snowfall makes ours look like nothing! But you are wise to look at the bright side; enjoying some time with the family. It's nice to have those opportunities isn't it? Otherwise we might forge on in our busy-ness.
ReplyDeleteHope everything is pleasant.....I love the conversation of the cows!

We are still trying to get the mud dried up here....we've actually had some almost 70's days and wow, did it give me cabin fever!! I want SPRING!! We are now moving back to cold next week...ewww. I couldn't deal w/ as much snow as you have...that would be why I am in Oklahoma...lol. I hope all is well your direction...stay warm and keep the fire burnin'.
ReplyDeleteCute Cows...
ReplyDeleteSounds like your all prepared.
We've had rain all week. I'm sooo ready for spring and I'm sure my chickies are too :)
Us too, chick! But I want to know if the cows "can come home" to sleep with ya, sugar!!! Hah.
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Connie ;-)
We would love to have some of that snow here in Minnesota - send it this way! Have a snuggly cozy weekend...
ReplyDeleteAdorable cows! I feel so bad for my animals when it is really cold. Enjoy your weekend though! That sounds like heaven to me. Throw in a puzzle and a good book and I am in! Enjoy!
ReplyDeletethe in-laws are bracing for it too. Talked to them this morning and apparently the lines are already cased in ice. They expect to loose power here shortly. Chin up! Only 3 more months of winter! (well maybe 4, but lets hope for just 3)
ReplyDeleteLOL! I love this post! We lived on a ranch for over 20 years and I always felt sorry for the poor horses who had to stay outside... though they did have the barn, they always stood outside. I never understood that. lol Have a cozy winter day.
ReplyDeleteStay warm! That actually sounds Heavenly. This is our 2nd rainy day, got up to 47 yesterday and supposed to be in the 40's today. That is ok, just so the temps don't dip below freezing.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
until next time... nel
It does sound pretty good! We just have rain rain rain, which = mud, mud, mud, which = a very UNHAPPY Goodwife! Enjoy the blizzard, stay warm and safe!
ReplyDeleteSounds quite cozy. Nothing better than having everyone around, a warm fire and no place to go.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on my post.
Lucky we have a fake spring here in Sask. but its starting to get colder here. The cows will survive okay ours did in minus 40 weather
ReplyDeleteIt does sound good..I guess it will be heading our way soon...take care and stay warm...
ReplyDeleteHi there! I've missed finding time to check in on you! I LOVE your cow photo :D I always feel bad for my girls when the weather is cold & nasty too! SO glad you have ALL you need to warm, safe & content during the storm...(Praying it is just a little one :D) Most of all..hope you get to snuggle all those you Love a LOT! Sweet blessings!
ReplyDeleteSO...DID THEY GET TO COME IN MAMA? LOL WE'VE HAD COLD AND BLIZZARDS BUT STILL NOT A LOT OF SNOW! STAY WARM..COME SAY HI :D
ReplyDeleteA foot of snow? Goodness! Can you send a few inches my way? I'm recovering from a nasty virus and could use a bit of snow to trap me inside, make me rest up, and be cozy!
ReplyDeleteStay safe and warm! Have a great weekend!
That picture is to cute And sometimes the cows are so cute you would love for them to be pets. Like I have told my kids though don't get attached they are to big and poo way to much. It has been warmer here in Michigan and most of our snow is melted. I went out to check on goats this morning in my one coat and flip flops. I cannot wait for spring. Have a great day Rebekah.
ReplyDeleteI love the cow pic...hope the snow is not as many inches as predicted. You will be on our prayer list. Snow is fine but feet at a time makes everything hard.
ReplyDeleteIt's been so very cold here, then over one week of complete fog. No joke. I'm getting clausterphobic. A foot of snow sounds better to me than what we are going thru now. Ah, to watch the falling snow instead of wondering where the end of the driveway is...have fun in the snow, cook and bake some good stuff...the POST IT!!! :)
ReplyDeleteThose cows look soooo cute....and I thought we had cold weather. Glad you are prepared to stary warm.
ReplyDeleteIrma :)
I would LOVE to see 12inches of snow here. I think I'm holding my breath on that one :(
ReplyDeleteEspecially since it's 55 right now.
Enjoy the snow!! It will be spring before we know it and everyone will be too busy to be together!
Hope you aren't too buried in this last blast of winter!
ReplyDeleteHmm... more snow or the snud (snow/mud mixture) we've had this week... its a dilemma... but I think I'll take dry roads, sunshine and temps near 70°F. Rebel that I am. lol
ReplyDeleteWow! You guys have been hit hard this winter! Poor cows! I know God designed them to survive cold weather, but I still feel sorry for them!
ReplyDeleteYuck!!! Please keep your snowfall to yourself!
ReplyDeleteStay warm, 12 inches is too much for me! Cant wait for Spring!
ReplyDeleteHahaha! Too cute! I hope you are enjoying yourselves! Stay safe & warm!
ReplyDeleteHi! I was blog jumping and happened to end up here. I'm glad I did! Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteVery Cute! I actually love being snowed in sometimes. It is a little bit fun with family being trapped all together. :) Hope you enjoyed your blizzard and stayed warm!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe all the snow the North is getting! My cattle give me sad pitiful eyes too when the weather is bad out.
ReplyDeleteI'm running a few days behind.
ReplyDeleteDid you get all that snow???
Brrrrrr....sounds cold just thinking about it!
