Ready to roll........

We may be under a winter storm watch {Yes...in April} but I for one am SO ready for spring. I want to smell the warm, earthy smell of freshly tilled soil, I want to feel the warm sun on my face, I want to see my kids outside enjoying the fresh air and I want to see our tractors rolling gently through our fields. :)

{This tractor is still in our shop....

full of three boys itchin' to get out in the field!}

What do YOU want to do this spring? I would love to hear your thoughts or just say hi!!! :) Good grief, we are under a winter storm watch......you could at least try to cheer me up with your comments!!! ;)

  1. Winter storm watch... ouch! This morning I am listening to spring showers and it sounds like this afternoon we will be under a severe thunderstorm watch. Hope you can smell the fresh tilled soil soon. It is a sweet smell.

  7. Yep, we've gotten 3-5"( might be more, as it's melting too) of wet snow since 11pm last night. I've always said if you don't like the weather in MT just give it 10 minutes*wink*

    We're so ready to be diggin' in the dirt but just have to keep telling ourselves it is still just April. Last May 5th, I have it documented on our blog, we received 15+ inches of wet snow, by the nex day it was all soaked in.

    Hang in their the sunshine is coming :o)
    Blessings for your week,
    Kelle

  9. Oh, I feel for you!
    It's time for the snow to go!
    It's gone here but it's been replaced by lots and lots of rain.
    Hope winter leaves you soon so that you can fully enjoy the springtime.

  10. Saskatchewan has snow all week and we are now starting to warm up. But Farmers wont be getting in the fields to work until the snow melts and the fields dry up. We have so much water and the snow hasn't completely Melted and the water in places is coming over the road. Well at least it has been nice enough
    that the cows and calves are happy and running around.

Can't wait to get the orchard mowed and my garden in and to feel warn again. One bright spot, my orange orchard is starting to bloom. It smells so good.....Love you blog.

  13. I probably won't cheer you up either as here in Arizona we have been having weather in the 80s & 90s. My tomato plants have tomatoes on them and my cucumbers are growing. I saw the squash with blossoms the other morning. Spring will soon come and the snow & cold will be gone soon. Just a little bit longer. Have a Happy Easter.

  16. Right now I would get down on my knees and give thanks for a winter storm warning! The wind has been blowing bad down here and add to that no moisture and we are praying for what ever we can get. The weather says that we should get some rain tomorrow and Sunday, so we are hoping and praying. Hoping that spring makes it to your part of the country and if you can figure a way to send your un-needed moisture to our part we will take.
