I know many of you probably have done this quick and easy recipe but I thought I would share it anyway....just incase you need reminding of this quick treat. Using different Hershey's Kisses you can get many different festive looks. I only had plain ol' Kisses but I think you get the general idea.
I love making these...everyone loves the combination of the salty with the sweet. They make a great homemade gift from your kitchen. Just put them in a clear cello bag and tie with a cute ribbon.
Christmas Pretzel Treats
Star-shaped pretzels
Hershey's Kiss or Hershey's Hug
M&M's candy
Heat the oven to 170F. Set a number of pretzels (one for each treat) in a single layer on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, then top each pretzel with an unwrapped Hershey's Kiss or Hershey's Hug.

Bake for 4 to 6 minutes (the white chocolate will melt more quickly), until the chocolates feel soft when touched with a wooden spoon. Remove the cookie sheet from the oven and quickly press an M&M's candy into the center of each Kiss.

Cookies are the main holiday treat in our home. My three guys love 'em and prefer cookies over anything else. We all have our favorites...mine would probably be homemade gingersnaps. It's a recipe that's been in our family for generations.
ReplyDeleteHow cute! And a great idea.
