Farmchick's Fudgy Brownie Recipe!

Hello friends...I am having such a time trying to get back into blogging on a regular basis...life just seems to get busier and busier.  Thank you, once again, for all the messages wondering where I was and if we were all doing okay...everyone is doing well!  If you are on facebook visit and like my page--I am much more active there.  https://www.facebook.com/FreshfromtheFarm

Yesterday was our favorite middle child's birthday so I made his favorite fudgy and chewy brownies. Ever since he was small he liked brownies so much more than cake...so this brownie recipe has been my go to recipe for years and years...it is the ONLY brownie recipe I use.  Sometimes I don't add the chocolate chips...they are scrumptious either way.

I tore this recipe out of a magazine sometime in the mid 1990's so I'm not sure where it came from {much like many of my recipes} but I sure am glad that I did! I have made it enough times since then that  I really don't even need to look at the recipe.  It's pretty simple.

Fudgy  Brownies

1 cup melted butter
3 cups white sugar
4 eggs
2 tablespoons real vanilla extract
------------------------------------------
1 and 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 and 1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup mini semi sweet chocolate chips

-------------------------------------------

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Grease 9x13 baking pan
Mix wet ingredients together
Mix dry ingredients together and then add to wet ingredients.
Stir in chocolate chips if desired
Spread batter into pan and bake for 35 minutes or until a tester comes out clean...DO NOT over bake!!

Now ENJOY!!!

Yum, yum, yum! I just made these brownies for the first time. This is going to be my favorite recipe. I love they use four eggs. I've nearly always got extra eggs around and actively look for places to use them
