Meet our newest baby!

Everybody, meet our newest bull calf. Isn't he just the sweetest thing? Now, here is the problem. We are trying to think of a cute but manly name for him. You know, he is going to grow up to be big and strong ! If you have any ideas please leave it in the comment section! Even if you don't have any ideas I would still at least love to hear a "hello" from you.

Things are busy here. We will hopefully finish up our last field of wheat today. I am hoping that the weather holds out as it is clouding up.

Thank you to all my readers and followers for stopping by! :)

  1. I don't know why but he looks like a Julio to me. Hope the weather holds up to finish your wheat. My husband was raised in Beardstown, Il and they grew melons. It was always, too hot, too wet, too dry or something. It's a rough life but so worthwhile. I don't even want to think where our country would be without farmers. Thank you.

  3. What a cute addition.
I'll have to think of some names. The first that came to mind was Buster but the kids are still pondering a name as they look at his picture.

  6. Manly, lol. I just watched some Little House on the Prairie and that was the nickname Laura gave her husband, Almonzo. I guess he could also be an Almonzo, haha.

Remember the story about Ferdinand the Bull? He sat in the shade sniffing flowers...... I loved that story when the kids were little. But I'm still thinking Rusty is a macho name, a cowboy name, a farm name.....
