Simple, Easy and Yummy!!
That's the best way to describe this soup!
TORTELLINI CHICKEN SOUP
9 oz. package cheese tortellini, uncooked
1 pound skinless chicken breasts, cooked and diced
46 oz. can of fat free chicken broth
1 cup carrots, peeled and diced
1 cup onion, peeled and diced
1 cup celery, chopped
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 bay leaf
Combine all ingredients in a pot.
Bring to a boil over meduim heat.
Reduce heat and simmer until tortellini is tender.
{Do not boil too hard!!}
Discard bay leaf.
Serve with a nice lettuce salad
and garlic toast or breadsticks!
6 servings---5 points per serving
