It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.......


Hello all!!


I have been decorating my house and the trees... so it finally IS beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here. I have all four Christmas trees up and other assorted decorations. I'm not quite done decorating the fireplace mantel. I bought a few new oranments to hang around the house.....


This is my tree that is in the living room. It is 9 feet tall and I think it turned out very pretty! I love all the sparkly red and gold ornaments, music notes, stars and berry branches that I stuck in.

    Only decorated one tiny tree this year. Haven't been feeling all that great since Thanksgiving. I did get my cards and my Sister P's gifts mailed though.

    I love your tree! And the idea of putting the berry amongst the branches is fantastic! Thanks for that tip. Your decorating muse is doing right by you. xxoo

    It is looking so festive in your home...is your harvest over?

    Very, very pretty Tania! Those berries and ribbons really set it off!
    I'm not sure if I have a favorite ornament. I like them all. I do love natural things, so I'll go with that! LOL!

    I love Christmas trees! Do you guys get fake ones?

    We always go cut a real one down. It's always entertaining to figure out how to hide the 'bare spot'!

    That is an amazing tree. Ah...ours is fake, and only 3 feet tall. But in it's heart it is really a big tree.

    Condo fire rules, forbid us from having a real tree. That is why we are so looking forward to having our farm one day, just imagine the trees we can have.

    That is such a beautiful tree.
    Since we are going to be at our oldest son's home for Christmas Eve I put up a small fake one.
    It is so cold here after our major snow storm.
    Did you get all of your harvesting done?
    Can't wait to see the other 3 trees.

    love you new wallpaper and banner. your tree is beautiful too. i've been meaning to hop over and tell you that i made your harvest bundt cake for thanksgiving and i had to show complete self control to not eat the entire thing by myself. it was delish... so thank you for sharing it, my hips will never be the same... have a wonderful holiday season and thanks for stopping by the sweet life...

    I think that tree would take up my entire living room. I had to find a skinny tree for the corner just to have one in the house!

    I love western decorations, imagine that. Have lots of cowboy santas and buckin' horses.

    now that is what I call a grand christmas tree..we have our tree decorated with all the childrens art from playgroups etc and outside we have all the lights twinkling in the trees. Like your blog background and love reading the stories about your grain bags and sunflowers..have a great christmas

    I love your tree! I wish I had tall ceilings; I'm stuck with 8 ft ceilings though, and it drives me bananas! Your tree is gorgeous. when I decorate my mom's tree, I do the ribbon runners too!
