Hello all. We have been at the lake soaking up some sun and doing some fishing. So I have been missing in action. I wanted to post a fun recipe that my kids really like.
Pretzel Sparklers

package (10 ounces) pretzel rods
Colored candy stars or sprinkles

Directions:
Dip each pretzel rod about halfway into chocolate; allow excess to drip off. Sprinkle with stars. Place on waxed paper to dry. Yield: about 2 dozen.

hey there farmchick! I dont know how I've missed the last batch of your posts, but I did! I see youve been busy! Maybe things will slow down a little now that the planting is done?? or not.. I know our farmers around here are always busy doing something! and I do believe your farm is bigger then most of the ones around here.. well, I say that, but I really have no clue what I'm talking about! haha!
ReplyDeletethat pulled pork sandwhich back a few sure looks good. I've been cooking all day, but for tomorrow, I didnt make anything for tonight. I did eat a tuna sandwhich around 3:00. but its 8:00 now and I'm hungry!!! wish I had you to cook for me! heehee!

ReplyDeleteMy family and I enjoyed your Pulled Pork recipe yesterday. It was easy and delicious. I know why you make the buns. The ones from the store were too wimpy and I served it more on the fashion of an open-faced sandwich. But they were very good!
ReplyDeleteI make the pretzels for Christmas but this idea is just perfect! I can see them for each Holiday!! I am going to buy the seasonal sprinkles and make them for each Holiday now. Thanks so much for that idea.

hugs, Linda

We've made those with the kids, they are a big hit! We stick them in the freezer for a couple minutes to set quickly. The kids like them cold anyways.
