Followers & Muffins

Hello dear readers :)

First off.....I want to say welcome to my new followers and thanks for following my blog. It has been so fun getting to know many of you. Last week I mentioned that in honor of my 400 followers I was going to have a giveaway. {I gained four new followers since Friday!} Yay!! Stay posted as it is in the works right now.

I make a double batch of muffins every Sunday or Monday. One of our family favorites being these banana chocolate chip muffins. Soooooo yummy!!

It seems that I always have over ripe bananas on hand....so it is logical that I make these muffins.

When I cook I normally do not follow recipes...but when I bake I do. {most of the time} I have a made these gems so often that I know the recipe by heart. :)

Do you bake something for your family so often that you don't need to follow the recipe? What is it??

Thanks for stopping by............and for your comments too. :) Remember to be watching for my give away!!! :)

  1. These look so yummy! I've been busy in my kitchen today, also. Still chilly here in the midwest, so using the oven is still a good idea!

  3. These look delicious! My sons would enjoy them, I'm sure!

I make cinnamon coffee cake so often that I don't need the recipe. It's made similarly to honeybun cake, but doesn't have a glaze on it. My guys love it!

  4. I make quiche and pancakes from memory......chili,gravy,beans and rice, Sulla Toscana, cornbread, so many things. I think it may be the years of experience. Contests on the followers.. I discovered today that I have 300. I guess I should have another giveaway.

I have several baking recipes that I make and don't need a recipe card. They just kinda stick with you after making them so many times. ( ha..and so do the pounds after eating them!)
One of them is for the crescent cream cheese dessert.
Congrat on over 400 followers and can't wait to hear about your giveaway.

  10. Those look yummy! We make a lot of muffins here also. Each child has their own favorite and of course no one has the same one as a favorite. I make a lot of choc chip, blueberry, and apple muffins.

  11. Those look scrumptious! However, anything with chocolate chips is a fav of mine! I bake pecan pies so much during the winter months that I know the recipe by heart. Not only for the family, but co-workers pay me for them!
