A farmer's work is never done.
57 below zero windchill!
But the sunflowers still have to be hauled to the elevator!

Nice photos ! WOW ! That's cold ! We just had a snow storm that started last night and just ended a few hours ago the sun popped out for a bit and now it is snowing again as the darkness falls . Have a cozy and safe day !
ReplyDeleteMy husband really wants to know what kind of fuel additive you use to keep the diesel from gelling. :)
ReplyDeleteKansas Farm Mom....We don't use additive...we run straight # 2 and we have inline fuel heaters that are heated through the hot water of the motor. Thanks for stopping by and for the question too!
ReplyDeletewonderful pics! :)
ReplyDeleteWowza!!! 57 degrees below!!! Also, I didn't realize you guys did sunflower seeds! I can't see the last picture for some reason (probably my internet connection) but I'm assuming the trailer is full of sunflower seeds. Dumb question- what are sunflower seeds used for? I use them in my bird feeders is that where they are going?
