Frozen Cranberry Salad

Frozen Cranberry Salad is a favorite in our family and my kids would be VERY UPSET if I did not make it for our Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinners. I only make it twice a year! It is very delicious  and I think you will love it.

8 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 teaspoons white sugar
1 (16 ounce) can whole cranberry sauce
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS
Mix together cream cheese, sugar, cranberry sauce, pineapple and nuts. Set aside.

Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.

Fold into cranberry mixture.

Now you can put it in a loaf pan, freeze and then slice it. I like to put my
salad in a pretty bowl, freeze and let my guests scoop out as much as they want. That's it....simple yet delicious.

Frozen Cranberry Salad... WILL be on Farmchick's Thanksgiving and Christmas tables. :)

  2. Just wanted to let you know, when I looked on my reader in dashboard, I tried to click on your post and it came up unfound.

I will try your recipe. SO many of these type of recipes have Cool Whip and I don't like using it.I'm crazy about cranberries!

So is it a desert? or something on the side? I never have seen such a dish here in OZ,But the thought of icy creamy fruitiness makes me want some!

  5. You mentioned butter in the recipe but I didn't see it listed in the ingredients. How much do you use? I am looking forward to trying this recipe for Thanksgiving.
