♥ WHEN will I wake up to birds tweeting outside my window?

♥ WHEN will all the snow melt?

♥ WHEN can I plant my garden?

♥ WHEN will we be in the field planting our crops?

♥ WHEN can I sit on the deck and feel the warm sun on my face?

♥ WHEN can our children run around outside in the fresh air--WITHOUT being bundled up?

In other words.............

WHEN WILL IT FEEL LIKE SPRING IN OUR NECK OF THE WOODS???

What's the weather like where you live??

♥Farmchick♥

  1. There's a little snow outside from our last little dusting. It's 35F and sunny today. Possibly snow tomorrow... but I won't hold my breathe since the weather people have been wrong too often this season.

We'll take your snow! We need it badly, our friends with wells aren't that thrilled with our very mild winter.

(I'm a reader trying to be more social, is it working yet? lol)

  2. Ummm...you probably don't want to hear this, but...it's sunny and 72 degrees! Sorry...it's our first week of warm weather, though, and they are calling for us to have more rain & snow this weekend, if that makes you feel any better! LOL

Hoping you will see signs of Spring very soon!!!

  3. I know, I know. I see people with pictures of daffodils and I wonder where mine are hiding. It was a balmy 70 here on Friday now it's 44. I shouldn't complain I know it could be worse and spring is in fact just a little bit a way. But I'd sure like to have my house opened up for some fresh air!!

  6. We are tired of winter too...but yesterday we had 2 inches of rain and another two tomorrow. There are many flooded roads and the town near us has houses under water. I hope this is not the beginning of a wet spring. We usually don't have spring until the end of Marc....what winter we have had...so cold. I am ready of something alittle warmer than 40 though. Blessings, Dianntha

I am typing as my back door stands open and the breeze blows in.....I know how you must feel....I was depressed just looking at your pictures. 16. We had a nice couple of days last week in the 50-60s but today we are getting snow and it is 13 right now.
We had about 1/4 inch of ice last night and the wind is 30-35mph.

  17. We are having a taste of spring. It is 65* and there is suppose to be rain showers. It won't be lasting. Tomorrow the high is only 40 something. This is just a tease. Enough to make me really long for spring. Sigh!

  19. Feeling your pain without the snow. CoLD here but the robins & other summer birds are here. My chives, day lilies and wintered over spinach are nosing through the soil. (weeds too)

I hope we remember this in July when it's 105°. :o)

  20. I can answer your questions ----- When you move to Florida!!!!!

It's 80 degrees here today, the birds are busy building nests, singing like crazy, the trees are budding out, flowering, etc., and the grass is again turning nice and green! Just perfect!

  25. It's gorgeous here...this is the best time of year for us! March, April, May (I like June and July, also...but, I'm the exception). The rest of you will be laughing at us in August and September when it's over 100 degrees every day and humid. Look forward to watching you 'come out of hibernation'.
