Hi everyone. I am so sorry I didn't get that recipe out yesterday like I had originally intended to do! I just simply ran out of time and today isn't looking any better!
Our children have a piano competition in town this morning and then we have lots of things to do around the farm. I will probably get the recipe posted at the beginning of the week.
Isn't this little calf just a cutie? Can anybody out there come up with a cute name to match? Let me know your ideas!
Thanks for stopping by......I hope you come back soon!

That IS a cute calf! I'm not very good at coming up with clever names, though.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great weekend!
I love your blog and recipes. I suggest Isabelle for the calf's name.
ReplyDelete"Arrowhead" Image around eye!
ReplyDeleteI like "Spotty" or "Freckles", chickee! That is definitely a cute cow........:-)

Ewwwww, it is SNOWING HERE.....I feel a depression coming on....only thing keeping me from it is the weather is going to be 55 tomorrow!!! I hope kids do well at competition. We have 3 baby goats....woohooooo!!!
ReplyDeleteAwwwww! That is such a cute little calf! I am guessing that it's a girl? Hmmmmm, how about Checkers? Her face has a kind of checkered look to her spots. Or what about Cocoa?
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Have a GREAT weekend..I hope it's filled with ALL things good! What a cute, cute calf....I always name mine too....hope you get some good names to choose from! Sweet blessings!

ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet calf!!! Awww, I LOVE cows. Granted, I have really got to see too many up, close and personal like I am sure you have. But at one time I was obsessed with them. My whole kitchen was cow-themed!! LOL!!
OMGosh, I am not sure on a name other than ol' reliable Bessie!! LOL!!
Hope you are having a great weekend!!
Hugs!! Carrie♥
You mean, you actually are BUSY on that there little farm? ;)
ReplyDeleteI hope the piano recital goes well!!
That calf has unusual markings on his face. Hmmm...maybe Patch? Freckles? Domino?
Freckles was the first thing that came to mind! Nothing sweeter than a baby calf! Have a good weekend...even though it's busy. Looking forward to that new recipe.

Looks like a Talulah to me!
ReplyDeleteaww! what a sweet baby! how about baby bella! or dewdrop then you can call her dewy, or dewd if its a boy! (ok, those were both pretty dumb!) I do like baby bella though. or cracker jack.. (if is a boy) Molly? and then theres always Daisy!

Good luck with the piano competition!
ReplyDeleteReally cute calf...Noel COWard for a boy, or BEAUvie?
If it's a girl, why not Sunflower? To match your crops.
Or, you could just go with whatever the little farmers want, eh?
Rest up...tomorrow's Sunday!
Piano recital sounds great.
ReplyDeleteI like Gracie for a girl cow and Georgie for a boy cow.....
Good luck to the young people in the competition. Buck if it's a boy, Coco (as in Coco Chanel) if it's a girl. What a cutie! Have fun and enjoy the rest of the weekend. xxoo
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweeite...
ReplyDeleteHow about Malteser...
You know like the chocolates?
Brown on the outside and cream colored inside???
What a sweetie that calf is...My kids would just be beside themselves if we had a calf here on our property.
Such a sweet babe. Any name that comes to mind isn't very original. LOL - just heard the lyrics from the song playing - Chicken Dumpling.
ReplyDeleteHey girl, Sorry I haven't been here for awhile. Looks like spring is sprung there too. Nothing like the site of baby calves jumping around with their tails in the air... That calf looks like a "Clover" to me if it is a girl and a boy...hummm. George in honor of you buried chair...lol.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, I really need to get busy with my blog, just not a lot of happy around here right now!!
Hugs,
Joleen
What a cutie! How about Domino.
ReplyDeleteHugs :)

Hello,
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog. I've added you to blogs to follow. That seems to be about the only way I can semi follow any blog.
The calf is cute, we don't have any calves expected until next Spring, so look forward to our brood hens and brood turkeys hatching some clutches. Our Dd is raising two bum lambs for a friend, as soon as they are weaned they go back to our friend.
I'll add my name for the calf into the pot, Cinnamon and Spice.
Glad I found you, I've enjoyed your posts.
Blessings from,
The Never Done Farm(ette)
Let's see...I love the Christmas movie...Annabelle, so I love that name! But also love the names Hershey, Cinnamon, or Betsy for the calf.
ReplyDeleteHope the piano competition went well!
