Cake Mix Blueberry Cherry Cobbler

I have been a horrible blogger as of late.  Time just seems to be going by so quickly...I want to put the brakes on summer or maybe even start it over! 

I made this the other day and it was a hit!  I usually like CRISP better than cobbler but this is really good.  Give it a try...it is quite simple to make! 





1 21 oz. can cherry pie filling
2 cups blueberries
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/8 t almond extract
1 box yellow cake mix
1/2 cup oats
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, melted
1/4 cup butter, sliced



Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Pour can of cherry pie filling in bowl and add blueberries stir in almond  extract and lemon juice. Spread fruit mixture over the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish.

In bowl combine together: cake mix, melted butter & oats. Use a fork to combine until chunky. Spread over top of filling. Place slices of butter over top.


Bake 25-30 minutes. Cool before serving. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream on top if so desire!
