It's harvest time!!

One of my favorite times

of the year on our farm....

HARVEST!!!

The last few days have found me in my

combine....harvesting

HARD RED SPRING WHEAT.

For those of you that don't know...

Hard Red Spring Wheat is the

aristocrat of wheat for baking bread.

In other words...it makes awesome breads!

This is what I see from my combine seat.

Today is not a good harvesting day...too cool and damp.

I think I will go bake something!

Our summer...

is going by too quickly.

I am trying to put the brakes

on it but it still keeps on going.

Do I really need to send

my babies off to school soon?

I always have a horrible

sense of dread at this

time of the year.

Hello.....it's us....Farmchick's cows....come walk with us okay?

We are enjoying ourselves grazing along this beautiful pasture.

Which way should we go...our Farmer says to go that way.

So, lets take his advice and get going.
