Okay....so it was more than a "few" days before I posted this recipe! :) This dessert looks patriotic so it is great for the 4th of July or Memorial Day but I think it is just perfect for a hot summer day (or even a not so hot day! )I hope you enjoy it.

Patriotic Frozen Delight

1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
1/3 cup lemon juice
2 cups (16 ounces) plain yogurt
2 cups miniature marshmallows
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
1 cup fresh blueberries

In a bowl, combine milk, lemon juice and peel. Stir in yogurt, marshmallows and pecans. Spread half into an ungreased 11-in. x 7-in. dish. Sprinkle with half of the strawberries and blueberries. Cover with the remaining yogurt mixture; top with remaining berries. Cover and freeze. Remove from the freezer 15-20 minutes before serving.

I have been busy in my yard and garden. I can't believe how fast the summer is going. I would like it to SLOW down just a little. I need more time before my babies go back to school! My garden and flowers are really growing now and so are our crops. I will be back in a few days to post a few crop and other pictures from around the farm. Is your summer going fast also??

Yes, summer is but almost gone. My husband says once the 4th is over, the rest is history.

This looks really good, I am going to try it.

Summer is going fast - which is OK with me. Full speed ahead to fall! LOL It is so different now that the kids aren't kids anymore!

Enjoy what is left of your summer!

That looks good! To bad I'm lactose intolerant and can't have yogurt :( it seems to affect me more than anything else it's a pain. I can have ice cream every once in a while but yogurt? No way!
